Lucky JETT*CON Attendee Leaves With Hawaiian Vacation

PALM HARBOR — July 20, 2001 — Traffic is always heavy at the Geographic Solutions' JETT*CON booth, but this year there was more reason than ever. The release of a new version of Virtual OneStop, the nation's premier operating system for one-stops, always draws a large crowd.

"We are always busy introducing people to the latest developments in our Virtual OneStop product," said Paul Toomey, President of Geographic Solutions. "But this year, our booth attracted more people than usual."

What was all the fuss about? The opportunity to win tickets for two to Hawaii! Several hundred people stopped by the booth during the two-day event and registered for the drawing. Then, it was time for the big event. Since you had to be present to win, a large crowd gathered around the Geographic Solutions' booth for the drawing, bringing the conference to a halt.

After a couple of preliminary drawings for t-shirts, it was time to give away the tickets to Hawaii. A young volunteer from the audience chose the winning ticket from the fishbowl and handed it to Tim Duffy, emcee for the drawing.

"It was very exciting," said Tim. "We had at least 400 people crowded around with tickets in their hands, hoping to win. The crowd was so thick that one person who won a t-shirt couldn't get through the crowd in time to claim his prize."

A hush fell over the crowd as the winning name was read. A loud "Oh my gosh," came from Marsha Lindsey as her name was read. "I can't believe it! I never win anything," said Lindsey, a QA Manager from Denison, TX. Paul Toomey presented the tickets to a smiling Marsha.

"It was fun and there was a lot of interest in the new Virtual OneStop Version 5.0," said Paul.
